World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the template for upgrading a weapon ends in %, it will gain 3% of its previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component that is that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the back items that are not ascending. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
A prefix or suffix may be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.
A boost upgrade is a way to alter the defense or attack characteristics of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.
Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will be dropped in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much it will increase after a future reset.
The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it's possible that the item will be obsolete or even break when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the risk of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade components that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.
You'll often see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is the best method to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.
Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.
You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs as well as some rare glyphs to be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus which will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Based on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
The use of Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs close to key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids, for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also want to consider placing them near their most critical damage nodes.
Leveling
item upgrader for items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.
Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade the item, and once enough are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When the player improves a piece of equipment it will be replaced by a new item. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will come with a bonus of its own. This can be a disadvantage, as it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not require it.
The upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced by the same item, but it has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it can use up a lot of resources.
Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player continuously enters or exits water. The item can be upgraded multiple times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item can be very valuable in PvP, as an item that is properly rolled it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.
Requirements
The item upgrade r allows players to raise the level of their equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and weapons) above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also improve the strength of their base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.
Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an item it has a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to return to its original condition which means that the player has to spend additional items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.
If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will reset to zero. Additionally the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance and attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.
When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains a crit chance increase it will be applied before any attack damage increases. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the item definition and the value is computed every time an upgrade is applied.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.
Premium items could require different upgrades than regular gear. For example, they may need less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade to equipment requires different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses that are listed above.
