Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for another similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can place equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Also, when a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
